Do you stitch all of the do dads? Or do the attachments vary?
And can you wash a finished piece when done?

Patternnuts, I replied to your question about washing crazyquilts in today's post. Unlike with cross stitch, I don't recommend it. What I suggest is that while stitching a cq, be sure to keep your hands as clean as possible. Many of my fabrics are dry clean only but I use alot of hand dyed threads which aren't cleanable at all.
As for my do-dads, I use a huge variety of different embellishments. Sometimes I make embellishments but most of the things I use are either new commercial items or vintage flea market finds.
