Shabby Lane Shops

If you've been following my blog for awhile now, you may know that Kitty & Me Designs is a member of Shabby Lane Shops Online Shopping Mall.  Not only does SLS offer wonderful benefits to their shop owners, but they offer an awesome service to shoppers as well!  Over 60 beautiful shops with gorgeous handmade products, vintage & antique finds, bridal and baby items, candles, soaps, cookbooks, home decor, gifts and more!  All in one convenient online shopping mall.

Recently, Catherine Monceaux, who operates the Shabby Lane Shops Mall, appeared on a local TV show in Tennessee.  Catherine talked about the Nashville Southern Women's Show, which took place this past week.

I will a link to Catherine's TV appearance as soon as it's available.

One of the fun things that Catherine offers at Shabby Lane Shops are Boutique Bags.  Boutique Bags are beautiful grab bags filled with a variety of items from many of the Shabby Lane Shops shop owners.  The Boutique Bags are a lovely way for customers to discover the beautiful shops at SLS.  The BB items are wonderful to use for little gifts when you just want to let someone know that you're thinking of them!

Mom and I have been contributing to the Boutique Bags since we joined Shabby Lane Shops.  Each month, we make a different item to send to Catherine for inclusion in the BB's.  Mom and I have done handmade greeting cards, sachets, magnets and more!  This month, mom made some beautiful Victorian style Gift Tags:

Our gift tags are all packaged and boxed up and ready to send to Catherine this weekend!  I cannot tell you how much fun mom and I have with our Boutique Bag items!  It's fun to come up with a theme (June will be strawberries) and it's fun to decide on an item, to make that item and then to package them up!

Please visit the Shabby Lanes Shops website and all of the beautiful shops there!

Crazy Quilt Teddy Bear Dolls in Cottage Boutique

I was finally able to get these Crazy Quilt Teddy Bears added to our Cottage Boutique:

I haven't run my sewing machine in awhile so I think for today, I'll get my fancy fabrics out and sew up some more teddy bears, some cat dolls and some IPhone pouches.  I have another idea for a cool Crazy Quilt project too so I'll try to do that as well!

There are so many wonderful things to do and never enough hours in the day!!!

Drawing! Win A Pam Kellogg Crazy Quilt Cat Doll!

It's time for another drawing here at Kitty & Me Designs!  I thought it would be fun to have a drawing for one of my Crazy Quilt Cat Dolls:

The winner will receive this 6 inch Crazy Quilt Cat handmade by me!

Here's the catch, sorry but there's always a catch!  LOL!!!!

You can get 2 entries in this drawing.

****To be entered once, post my Boutique Button in the sidebar on your blog.  You can find the code on the top of my sidebar on the right hand side of this post.  Simply add the code to your sidebar and you'll get one entry.

****To be entered a 2nd time, write a blog post about our Handmade Cottage Boutique.  Include the link to our website:  http://www.kittyandmedesigns.com/   Make sure the you put the link on the words "Pam Kelloggs Handmade Cottage Boutique".  Not on Kitty & Me Designs.  Sorry, it's a Google thing.

Then, leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog!

The drawing will take place on Saturday, February 26th.  All entries will be put in a basket and my husband will draw the winner that morning.  I will announce it here on my blog by 12 noon Central Time.

Am I blatantly asking you to promote my Boutique?  Yes!  But you must admit, this a rather creative way of doing it!!  And because you're posting a link to your blog here, we might all end up meeting some great new people and getting some more followers.  And of course, some lucky person will win my Cat Doll!!!!

Good Luck everyone!

Boutique Additions

Well, it's snowing here again in Northern Illinois!  I have never seen this much snow in one Winter season!  But I'm counting the days until March 1st (3 weeks).  I usually start to breathe easier around the beginning of March.

I'd like to say thanks to everyone who commented on my Marie Antoinette quilt blocks.  I can't tell you all how much I'm enjoying that project!  I'll start on Block #7 in a few days.  I have some other things I'd like to do first.

In the meantime, I thought I'd share the newest additions to our Shabby Chic Boutique!  First, my Crazy Quilt Edwardian Lady Purse:

Check out that gorgeous trim that I found in my stash!  I don't know where I got that but it worked perfectly to finish off this handbag!

Next, mom made a few St. Patrick's Day Ornaments:

These are so sweet!  Just a little something cheery for Saint Patrick's Day!

We have loads of beautiful Cottage Style Products in our Boutique!  Please visit us and be sure to check our Special's For Today!   We have some Valentine's on sale!

Handmade Victorian Tussy Mussy's

I thought I would share mom's newest Tussy Mussy's for Valentine's Day or Shabby Chic Cottage Decor.  Mom's beautiful paper cone Tussie Mussie's are filled with silk flowers, tulle and paper images of angels, little girls, Victorian ladies, kitties and more:

Aren't these beautiful?  I just love mom's work.  She really has a knack for these!

And my latest contribution is a Shamrock Bonnet Lady Lavender Sachet:
This little Potpourri sachet is the first of my St. Patrick's Day additions to our Handmade Shabby Chic Boutique!

Handmade Boutique - More New Additions

I added some more of our new products to our Handmade Boutique.  Mostly mom's things as I can't really seem to get anything finished. Maybe because I'm always online!  LOL!!

Anyway, here are the lastest Valentine's Day Gift and Decor items.  First, 2 of my mom's gorgeous Tussy Mussy's:

Ok, so I did finish a couple of things.  Here are my Valentine's Day Trees:

And a little Valentine Bird Ornament that I made:

Mom made some gorgeous crocheted scarfs but I didn't have time to get them in our inventory yesterday.  I'll do that over the weekend.

For today, I'm going to mom's to play with the glitter.  And I'm quite eager to get back to some stitching.

Handmade Shabby Chic Boutique - New Additions

First, thank you everyone who left such sweet compliments on my Marie Antoinette Crazyquilt project!  I'm eager to move on to Block #6 but I thought I'd do a few other things first.  I'm finishing up on an embroidery project and then I'd like to make a Victorian Lady purse.  Then I'll get back to Marie Antoinette.

For now, I'll share photos of our Handmade Boutique additions:

These beautiful Handmade Valentine's were made by mom!

I have some more of mom's gorgeous Victorian Valentine's Day Tussy Mussy's to photograph and list today.

In other news, I'm coping with some mild withdrawals again but it's nothing I can't tolerate and I know it'll pass.  I need to get off some more of this Zoloft.  The side effects are getting to me.  I'll write about the side effects in a future post on Coping With Depression & Anxiety.

Crazy Quilting - Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt Block #5 Continued

I thought I'd give you a quick progress report on my Crazy Quilt featuring Marie Antoinette.  I did quite a bit of stitching on this block yesterday and this morning:
I'm going to turn the computer off now and stitch the rest of the day.  I have left over homemade soup and bread for dinner.  And I might make Scott heat it all up!!!

Shabby Chic Boutique - Valentine's and Sachets

I thought I'd share the newest additions to our Shabby Chic Boutique.  As seen in Shabby Lane Shops New Year Romance magazine:

Mom's beautiful Victorian Tussy Mussy's for Valentine's Day:

And here are my latest additions!  Bonnet Girls Fragrance Sachets:

Made with little paper faces, antique hand dyed lace, vintage millenary flowers and potpourri.  My home smelled wonderful when I was making these!

I'll have an update on my Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt shortly.  I'm waiting for the camera battery to charge.

Our HANDMADE SHABBY CHIC BOUTIQUE is now open!

I'm pleased to announce that our new Handmade Shabby Chic Boutique is now open for business!

It was a lot of work but it's so nice to have my own domain.  There is no membership, no sign up, no login here!  Customers can place orders without any extra fuss.

You might want to make yourself a pot of tea and then sit back, relax and enjoy paging through our Shabby Chic Boutique catalog.

I've added all sorts of new things.  Some nice Baby products and some pretty Valentine's Day decorations.  And there will be more for Valentine's Day items soon!

Here are few of our new products:

So that's my exciting news for today!  Now that I have the new Boutique all set, I can get back to stitching, sewing and gluing.  I'm really eager to start on Block #5 of my Marie Antoinette quilt.

Enjoy everyone!
