St Patricks Day Ornaments

I finished stitching my little birdie door hanger that I was working on yesterday:

I'll get this assembled in the next few days and post another photo when it's completed.  My next project will be the blue Crazy Quilt purse piece that I posted about yesterday.

In the meantime, here is a St Patricks Day Ornament that Mom made:

I guess that's my news for today.  If you're looking for more interesting reading, please hop over to Terri Lee's blog and tour her beautiful 130 year old home.

Another Heart Shaped Door Pillow

After doing a bit more straightening up in my craft supply room, I started another St. Patrick's Day heart shaped door pillow:

I probably could have finished this yesterday but if you remember, my husband surprised me with a new 60 inch television for us for Christmas.  I've been having me a Harry Potter movie marathon this past week while I'm stitching but I'm so blown away by how beautiful these movies look on our new TV, I keep getting caught up in the movie!  It's like seeing these Harry Potter movies for the first time.  Anyway, I'm going to sit here and stitch for an hour before I do anything else.  And I'll save Goblet Of Fire for this afternoon!

Boutique Additions

Well, it's snowing here again in Northern Illinois!  I have never seen this much snow in one Winter season!  But I'm counting the days until March 1st (3 weeks).  I usually start to breathe easier around the beginning of March.

I'd like to say thanks to everyone who commented on my Marie Antoinette quilt blocks.  I can't tell you all how much I'm enjoying that project!  I'll start on Block #7 in a few days.  I have some other things I'd like to do first.

In the meantime, I thought I'd share the newest additions to our Shabby Chic Boutique!  First, my Crazy Quilt Edwardian Lady Purse:

Check out that gorgeous trim that I found in my stash!  I don't know where I got that but it worked perfectly to finish off this handbag!

Next, mom made a few St. Patrick's Day Ornaments:

These are so sweet!  Just a little something cheery for Saint Patrick's Day!
