I had a great time with my crazy quilt students these past few days. I was feeling a little sad when they left because I enjoyed their company so much!
I finished up the little door pillow that I made while they were here:
I think I'll send this to my aunt as a little surprise! I have another student coming this weekend to perfect her crazy quilt techniques. I'm looking forward to it!
Doubt it looks any different

Yes, I rather doubt you can see too much difference with the landscape but
trust me - there is. I played with the truck and the embroidery in the
grass...

Thats so pretty. It sounds like your classes are a success! Thats great! Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Kim
Isn't that strange how we feel sad when students pack up and leave after class days? I think we focus on the projects and fun shared with our students so much that they become friends so we are sad when the time has come to say goodbye. I think that must be common with "good" teachers. We aren't in it for the money, but fr sharing our love of fabrics and CQ. It creates a bond between others who share our passion.

I'm so glad to hear that your class was a success - of course I had no doubt that would be the case!
