New Exclusive Colorful Cat for Acorns And Threads

It's really fun to help our shops out with Exclusive Colorful Cats!  I have a new one to share with you today.  This is Acorn and she's exclusive to Acorns And Threads:

New Colorful Cat Shop Exclusive

The newest cat in the Colorful Cats series is based on a sweet cat named 310.  She is a little black cat and is the shop cat at Keepsakes Cross Stitch Shop located in Cincinnati Ohio. 

310 is named for DMC #310 black and features some pink flowers because she's a girl kitty!!

What a beauty!!  I am so fond of black cats!!!

I really enjoy helping the retail shops out with exclusive Colorful Cats and I think Rosebud is one of my favorites!!! 

New Exclusive Colorful Cats Pattern - Kitty

 I've been thinking that I should create an exclusive Colorful Cat design for my shop!

This is the Colorful Cat Kitty!  She's exclusive in my Etsy and Magcloud stores.

Since logo has a black cat on it, I was thinking this cat should be black but that was little too boring for me so I added some pink since pink is my favorite color!!

New Exclusive Colorful Cat - Pumpkin

Many of you know that I've been trying to help the needlework retail stores get back on their feet.  As I have time, I've been creating exclusive Colorful Cat designs to help the shops.  My latest Colorful Cat in the exclusive series is Pumpkin!!

Pumpkin is exclusive to For The Stitcher's Soul.   Terri should have these in stock next week.

Exclusive Colorful Cat - Sapphire

I've completed another exclusive Colorful Cat!  This is Sapphire and she's available only from Stytching Country:

I still have quite a ways to go on these.  There are a lot of cross stitch shops and I really want to help them either stay on their feet or get back on their feet.  It's really fun to do this too.  The shop owners are so happy to have their own special cat design and stitchers get to check out shops that they probably never heard of.  It's win/win for everyone!!

I will have 2 new cats ready for my own Etsy store next week and I have to get going on the Autumn issue of Crazy Quilt Quarterly so there's a lot of great stuff coming!!

In my quest to help the needlework shops though this crisis, I offered Kathy Mills, the owner an exclusive cat design.

I've been on a mission to help the retail needlework stores through this crisis.  Honestly, I don't even want to talk about the crisis anymore.  The radio and television beat it like an old rug!  But I want to help the shops so I've been doing exclusive Colorful Cats.

Delightful is exclusive to Needleworker's Delight located in New Jersey.

I've known and worked with Jim the owner for many, many years. I tried to work Jim's cat in the colors of his store.

This is first Colorful Cat that I done for a dark colored fabric.  I think there will be a few more since the dark background really makes the cat pop!!

Exclusive Colorful Cats - Cobweb Corner

During this challenging time, I've been concerned about the retail needlework shops who have had to close their brick & mortar stores and operate solely through their online shops. I asked myself how I could help them. 

 

I decided to do a few Exclusive Colorful Cats. Exclusive meaning that as I can do them, each shop that I work with, will have their own cat design and it will only be available through that shop. These exclusive designs will not be available through me. They will only be available from the stitchy shop that I designed them for.
