Cross Stitch Easter Eggs

Despite my collection of cross stitch patterns by other designers (and there are many), every now and then, I like to stitch one of mine.  Actually, I'd like to stitch a lot of mine but there really are only so many hours in the day.

From my Easter Borders Cross Stitch leaflet, I stitched the eggs as a single motif:

I love Spring and this design was calling out to me for quite awhile!  I worked on it while watching the Figure Skating which of course reminds me of my mother (everything does) because she loved to watch the Olympics.

Anyway, I have a little pile of things that I need to sew together and finish and hopefully, I'll get to those soon.

These can be stitched as repeat borders or as individual motifs like I did.

Things have been a little hectic here so I've been running a little behind on pattern releases.

The first ever Colorful Cat Mystery Stitch-Along is complete!!

She is now available as a professionally printed pattern leaflet as well as a PDF download.

We will be starting another Colorful Cat mystery Stitch-Along on April 1st.  The Stitch-Along will be available to purchase on March 1st.

I haven't had time to finish up on my McHenry Landmark Crazy Quilt.

The blocks are all sewn together so next I need to put the borders on.  I have some satin yo-yo flowers made for the borders but like I said, things have been hectic here so it's been on hold for awhile.

I'll get back to it eventually and will post updates as I go along.

December Releases

Christmas Time is here!!  And I have some new patterns available, two of which are seasonal Colorful Cats!!

These are a little different as I designed them for special fabric by Fabric Flair!

First is Frosty.   Worked in shades of white, blue and silver, this cat is stitched on 14 ct Aida from Fabric Flair - White Snowflakes with Aqua Dyed Effect.
Kreinik #8 Braids add lots of sparkle and Mill Hill Snowflake Treasures give this cat a Winter look.

Next is Champagne, perfect for the New Year.  She's loaded with bubbles and lots of holiday sparkle thanks to Kreinik #8 Braids!
14 count Aida Champagne Bubbles by Fabric Flair enhance the festive look for the holiday.

Where did November go?  Tomorrow is December 1st already.  My December pattern releases are now available!

I thought some pretty Poinsettia Borders would be great for towels or tablerunners.  Shades of pink, red and green give these designs a traditional Christmas look.

 

With 2022 just around the corner, we needed a Happy New Year Colorful Cat!  Yes, her name is New Year.  She's worked in black, white and my beloved Kreinik metallic gold braid!  Lots of snowflakes will make her a fun project for January.

 

Finally, Jeannie the Colorful Cat was inspired by one of my favorite old TV shows, I Dream Of Jeannie.  Pinks, metallic gold Kreinik and some hearts make her perfect for Valentine's Day!
