I'm still working on getting my older cross stitch patterns re-published. It's a little a tedious but one by one, I'm getting them done and making them available again.
Today I have Amidst The Poinsettia Christmas Ornament. This was my ornament for the 2002 Just Cross Stitch Ornament Issue:
If you missed out on this one, he's available in my Etsy shop as both a professionally printed pattern leaflet or as an Instant Digital PDF Download.

Smokey Joe Cat Cross Stitch Pattern
Do ya'll remember Smokey Joe? He belonged to a friend of mine. He's at Rainbow Bridge now but his memory lives on in this cross stitch pattern that I've just rereleased:

Getting A New Furnace
Our heating company recommended a new furnace. At the moment, my heat is out again. I just called and told them that I need it replaced today. Okay, that's all I'll say about that for right now.
I finished up my purple cat doll yesterday and sewed up both the purple and the green one:
They're so Springy, aren't they? Here are closeups of the seam treatments:
Both are worked with my waste canvas technique.
Well, I don't know how much stitching I'll get done today. It's hard to stitch when you're shivering! But we'll see what happens.

Cold Night
Well, in the middle of the night, on the weekend, when it's 11 degrees outside, my furnace decides to go out! I've been up since 12:30. Freezing! LOL! It's 6:30 now and fixed at the tune of $700.00 but it's warming up in here now and I'm not longer shivering.
I tried stitching but I was shivering so much from being cold that I couldn't get the thread in the needle! Anyway, I'm almost done with my little purple cat doll:
I think I'll add some silk ribbon flowers to this while I sit here and warm up!

White Cat In A Rose Garden
My newest Crazy Quilt piece features a vintage image of a white cat in a rose garden:
I haven't decided yet on how I'll finish this. I'm going to stitch a few more pieces that are the same size and then we'll see what I do with them.
Here are the embroidered seam treatments for this piece:

More Little Cat Dolls
I like to stitch these little Crazy Quilt cat dolls in between larger projects. Here are my 2 newest along with closeups of my embroidered seams:
It was a very windy day here yesterday so I did a lot of stitching! The only good thing I can say about Winter is that I have a lot more stitching time than I do in the Summer!
