Cold Night

Well, in the middle of the night, on the weekend, when it's 11 degrees outside, my furnace decides to go out!  I've been up since 12:30.  Freezing!  LOL!  It's 6:30 now and fixed at the tune of $700.00 but it's warming up in here now and I'm not longer shivering.

I tried stitching but I was shivering so much from being cold that I couldn't get the thread in the needle!  Anyway, I'm almost done with my little purple cat doll:

I think I'll add some silk ribbon flowers to this while I sit here and warm up!

Collectible Cat Dolls

I did a lot of sewing yesterday.  I have both pillows sewn up but still have a bit of handwork to do on them before they're ready for photos.  I'll share those tomorrow.

I also finished up my little Green and Pink Cat Doll:

And speaking of my Cat Dolls, I have a few ladies who like to collect them.  I thought it would be fun to start dating and numbering them so starting in 2012, my little art doll cats will be dated and numbered on the back.

I will also start a page here on my blog for dating purposes.  It'll take me awhile to put this together since I've made so many of these cats over the years.  I'll start on that in the next few days and if nothing else, it'll be fun for everyone to see all the pretty little cats that I've made.

Needle Felted Easter Bunnies

I've been wanting to share with you, a photo of these precious Needle Felted Bunnies that my sister Kathi made:
Aren't these sweet?!!!!  These are entirely needle felted.  There's no sewing here.  Kathi is amazing when it comes to 3 dimensional felt work.  The carrots are felted too!  Like me, Kathi doesn't use patterns.  She just makes it up as she goes along!

I'll be back later with photos of my treasures collected at a Flea Market yesterday.  For now, don't forget that I will be having a drawing for this Crazy Quilt Cat Doll when I reach 400 Followers:
Please spread the word!!!
