Exclusive Colorful Cat - Delightful

I've been on a mission to help the retail needlework stores through this crisis.  Honestly, I don't even want to talk about the crisis anymore.  The radio and television beat it like an old rug!  But I want to help the shops so I've been doing exclusive Colorful Cats.

Meet Delightful:

Delightful is exclusive to Needleworker's Delight located in New Jersey.

I've known and worked with Jim the owner for many, many years. I tried to work Jim's cat in the colors of his store.

This is first Colorful Cat that I done for a dark colored fabric.  I think there will be a few more since the dark background really makes the cat pop!!

Colorful Cats Exclusive - Gingerbread - Chelsea Buns Cross Stitch

I mentioned yesterday that due to this virus problem, I was concerned for the retail needlework shops. I'm on a mission to help them so for the shops that I work with, I am designing a "Colorful Cat" that is exclusive to those shops.

Gingerbread is exclusive to Chelsea Buns Cross Stitch.  Chelsea's shop is located in Ottawa Ontario Canada.

I'm hearing that the Colorful Cats are starting to become "collectible".  Wow!  I've been told that some cross stitchers are on a mission to have all of them no matter where they are!  How cool is that!!

Exclusive Colorful Cats - Cobweb Corner

During this challenging time, I've been concerned about the retail needlework shops who have had to close their brick & mortar stores and operate solely through their online shops. I asked myself how I could help them. 

 

I decided to do a few Exclusive Colorful Cats. Exclusive meaning that as I can do them, each shop that I work with, will have their own cat design and it will only be available through that shop. These exclusive designs will not be available through me. They will only be available from the stitchy shop that I designed them for.

This is a beautiful and unusual niche publication, filled with eye candy for needleworkers. Photo resolution is not high so photos are not as crisp as some larger scale publications such as Inspirations, but the creativity of the projects compensates for this. An exceptional publication, well worth ordering.
