As always, I put too much on my plate at one time and then I have to try to figure out how to get everything done. I'm always off in a few different directions but I guess that's how I function so I've learned to just go with it. I'm in the process to playing catch-up and trying to get my projects down to just 2 at any given time. Wish me luck.
In other news, I have a helper now. Jason Dumont has been doing the graphic work for my books and classes for awhile now and he's just officially become my assistant. Yes, I need one. I can't do everything. I thought I was superwomen but I just can't be everywhere and have time to create and keep my house clean too. So if ya'll have a free moment, please hop over to my Kitty and Me Designs Facebook page and say hello to Jason. He will he posting there from now on. I will still post on my personal Facebook wall.
Finally for today, I have some Shamrock photos to share with you. My mom made these pretty door hangers from vintage images that I printed for her on fabric. These images are all from vintage St Patricks Day greeting cards:

Memory Quilt and Bee Purse
I did some finishing last week on a few things and thought I'd share them today. First is my Bee Purse:
I was going to save my Bee purse for Summer but I've already had my fill of Winter so I'm using it now. It's bright and cheery and very happy to look at!
Maybe people who see me in town with my pretty bags think I'm nuts but I don't care. I love the pretty purses that I make. I'm not one to stand out in a crowd but these are the exception. They just make me feel happy. Happy that I have the gift and ability to make them and happy because I think they're just so pretty to look at.
My other finish is this memory quilt that I made for my cousin. This is her dad, my uncle and godfather. Crazy quilts are a wonderful way to create a nice remembrance of someone we love who may no longer be with us except in spirit.

Handmade St Patricks Day Decor
As I mentioned yesterday, I've been busy, busy, busy! I have been stitching like crazy and made some pretty St Patricks Day decorations:
This one is a model for my upcoming Crazy Quilt book:
All of these are at Etsy.
I also made this little St. Patrick's Day cat doll as a gift for a friend:
And I made 2 more door hangers for gifts but still have to sew them together. Will post photos when I have them ready.
For now, I'm getting ready to stitch up the cover design for my next crazy quilt booklet!

Original Berlin Work Cards
I've posted these before, years ago, but I came across them this morning while looking for one of my own patterns and thought it would be nice to share them again.
These are old, original Berlin Wool Work Cards. They are hand painted and made in Germany and made probably before 1850. I found these at an antique shop and can you believe, I only paid 50 cents for each of them?
Anyway, 2 of them are marked Wiener Stickmuster. The other is unmarked. Please enjoy them. I scanned them at 400 dpi so they should be easy to stitch from if anyone would like to do that.
If you would like to "Pin" my images, please feel free to do so but please be sure a link to my blog is included.

Etsy Pillows by Mom!
Mom is back in the swing of things now that the holidays are over! She's been doing some sewing and made this beautiful vintage style Cottage bird pillow:
The image is one that I printed on fabric for her and yes, mom did do the embroidery and beadwork!
Then mom made this precious little Happy Birthday Door Pillow with Cats:
Again, the little image is one I printed for her on fabric.
Isn't is amazing what my mom can do with so little vision? But she has determination and that's what keeps her sewing, stitching and crafting!
