I'm still stitching on my Pink Kitty Pillow but I do have something fun to share today! I made this Pink Bee Crazy Quilt Purse for my cousin for her birthday:
You may remember the Green Bee purse that I made for myself last Winter:
Kim had seen mine and she loved it so I decided to make one for her. They're very whimsical and cheerful, aren't they? Kim's birthday is December 7th, but mom and I gave her our gifts yesterday. And yes, she loved the purse! She loves bugs as much as I do. Well, neither one of us want them on us or in our homes but we both love cute little bugs.
Well, that's my rambling for today. Be sure to scroll down and listen to Episode 1 of The Cinnamon Bear! It's a classic radio Christmas story from 1937. Episode 2 will be available tomorrow morning (Saturday, 11/30 at 9:00 am Central time)!

Memory Quilt and Bee Purse
I did some finishing last week on a few things and thought I'd share them today. First is my Bee Purse:
I was going to save my Bee purse for Summer but I've already had my fill of Winter so I'm using it now. It's bright and cheery and very happy to look at!
Maybe people who see me in town with my pretty bags think I'm nuts but I don't care. I love the pretty purses that I make. I'm not one to stand out in a crowd but these are the exception. They just make me feel happy. Happy that I have the gift and ability to make them and happy because I think they're just so pretty to look at.
My other finish is this memory quilt that I made for my cousin. This is her dad, my uncle and godfather. Crazy quilts are a wonderful way to create a nice remembrance of someone we love who may no longer be with us except in spirit.

Painted Daisies
A few years back, I was fortunate enough to find a huge spool of cotton daisy trim at a flea market. There had to have been at least 100 yards on the spool and I only paid $5.00 for it!
I got a bee in my bonnet yesterday and decided I wanted to play with the fabric dyes so I pulled out my daisies and went to town!
I'll be using these on some upcoming projects.
And speaking of bees in a bonnet, I finished stitching my Bee purse:
Scott said it looks like something for a 12 year old. Well, I've been known to bechildish childlike. LOL! This one is mine! I'll have to make some time to put it together. I still have to put my Peacock quilt together too!
