Cupcake A Birthday Gift

My mission to help the retail needlework stores will continue well towards the end of 2020 but in the meantime, I thought it would be nice to do something for my Facebook group:  Fans Of Kitty And Me Designs If you haven't joined the group, I would like to encourage you to do so.  We have a great group of stitchers there.  They share their WIPS (works in progress) so you can see the cats and my other designs and how pretty they all stitch up!

We also host a Kitty And Me BINGO game.  If you play, you could win a free Kitty And Me PDF pattern of your choice!!

And we have a lot of needlework retail shop owners in our group who will bend over backwards to help you with your stitchy supply needs!!  All you have to do is ask them for help if you need it.

And if you're working on the Never Ending Sampler, I've moved that group over to the main group.  It's getting a bit challenging to take care of 2 groups.

I will be announcing when Panel 7 will start and I will have some other announcements to share soon as well.  So please hop on over!!  Of course I'll share my news here as well.

I can't believe that my precious little Cottonball turned a year old on Friday.

Don't be fooled by the white fur and sweet face!  He's a handful!!!  But he's sweet and very agreeable!

I have a few things now that need assembling so I'll have to take a day this week and get everything caught up.

Hope you're all have a nice Sunday.  I have chocolate cupcakes in the oven, Cubs baseball playing on the TV (yes, they're losing to St. Louis, again) and laundry going.  It's time to go relax and stitch.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

We just had one of those little April showers.  You know, the kind that pops up out of nowhere, rains for a few minutes and stops.  Well, better rain than snow, right?

I started stitching on another little project that I pieced last week.  This is a Happy Birthday Door Hanger:

The center is from a vintage hankie that I picked up at a Flea Market last Summer.  I don't find them too often but when I do, I buy them.  I just started on this earlier today and I'm off to stitch some more until Scott gets home.

Etsy Pillows by Mom!

Mom is back in the swing of things now that the holidays are over!  She's been doing some sewing and made this beautiful vintage style Cottage bird pillow:

The image is one that I printed on fabric for her and yes, mom did do the embroidery and beadwork!

Then mom made this precious little Happy Birthday Door Pillow with Cats:

Again, the little image is one I printed for her on fabric.

Isn't is amazing what my mom can do with so little vision?  But she has determination and that's what keeps her sewing, stitching and crafting!
