Embellishment Packs Available

EMBELLISHMENT PACKS!! I have 5 beautiful embellishments packs available for purchase. These are perfect for crazy quilting, textile art, scrapbooking, card making, handmade dolls, Christmas ornaments and other crafts!

Each pack contains a minimum of 85 pieces. They are small pieces of trims from sample books. Due to the fact that they came out of sample books, not all but some pieces still have some glue/paper on the back however, they are high quality drapery trims and are very usable! I've included photos of the backs of some of them. Some of the glue peels off quite easily and some doesn't. You can decided for yourself if you can use these. They can be sewn down by hand or glued down.

Please look closely at all the photos. Everything you see is in these photos is the contents of one package and no 2 packs are alike. I tried to mix up the colors.

$25.00 each and that includes the postage for Flat Rate Priority Mail. USA only please.
Email me if you would like to place an order.  I accept PayPal and will send an invoice.

Crazy Quilt Quarterly Magazine Summer 2019

I had a lot of ladies asking when the Summer 2019 issue of Crazy Quilt Quarterly magazine would be available.  I usually release the issues on the 1st but decided not make anyone wait any longer!

Crazy Quilt Quarterly magazine Summer 2019
Our cover artist is Margaret Tuite. Her unique and colorful textile art is not only breathtaking but quite inspirational! Another textile artist featured in this issue is Julie Brand of Tigley Textiles. Anne Haughan shares her concern over environmental issues with her Troubled Waters quilt.

You may recognize Stephanie Novatski by her gorgeous dolls but did you know she did some crazy quilting too? Shirl Hubbs shares the work of her father, Gen Tracey offers some Wedding Pillow eye candy and Janese Morris shares another of her fabulous CQ toys, this time a kitten!

We have a Nativity quilt by Kathy Billings who also graciously agreed to let us interview her regarding her 2020 CQ challenge project. Guest Blogger - Lilla Levine

I first saw Lilla's work at Art-E-Zine.  I was blown away!  I loved her textile art and her use of dyed lace!  Lilla's work was a huge inspiration to me and a big part of my desire to try crazy quilting.  Something that is unique to Lilla is that she lives in Hawaii.  When I invited Lilla to be my guest blogger this week, I asked if she would talk about living and crafting in the beautiful state of Hawaii and she graciously agreed.  Please welcome Lilla Levine!

Hawaii, Islands in the remote Pacific ocean.

Aloha, I'm Lilla.
I live in the Islands of Hawaii.
I am sure most people know the tourist attractions and palms waving photos, easily found in travel ads.

Tourist Hawaii ,we call it, and most famously that means Waikiki.
Very friendly and fun, they enjoy sharing their studio and their products.

My first stop, was a quaint little shop and studio, where all sorts of classes take place.
I sometimes teach there too.
Some goodies made by we artists who enjoy the ambiance there.
After a short stop I had coffee at a pretty cafe, passing a local spot with workers having their break.
This is the place to by beads and lace and ribbon and trinkets galore.
Aloha and Mahalo Lilla

I'd like to thank Lilla Levine for taking the time to write this guest post.  I hope you enjoyed visiting Hawaii and Lilla's post on living in this beautiful state.  Please visit Lilla's blog to see some of her gorgeous textile art!  And then hop over to Lilla's Etsy shop to see what she offers there.
