Whew! I finally finished up my little Crazy Quilt Clutch Purses! I don't know why these took me so long to do. I usually breeze right through my projects.
I vintage embroidered hankies on each one of these and hand crocheted the trim on the edge of the flap. So which one is your favorite? Mine is .......no, not the pink one. It's the blue one. I love that blue rose!
I also have another of Mom's Fall Door Hangers to share:
The soft shades of brown give this hanging heart a Thanksgiving feel!
I'm currently working on a custom piece for a friend. I'll have photos of that soon. After that, I have a green purse all pieced and ready to stitch on. Lots of eye candy to watch for!

Cat Dolls
A while back, I talked about some little gifts that I made. They were my little signature cat dolls. All have arrived to their forever homes so I thought I'd share photos of them today:
In other news, I'm working on the flaps for some Crazy Quilt Clutch purses. I'll have more photos of those soon!

Christmas Crazy Quilt Purse
I finally did the hand finishing on my Christmas Crazy Quilt Purse:
I used an antique lace collar on the bottom and then finished it off with hand crocheted trim using my fancy fun yarn. The poinsettia is from a vintage hankie! This is probably the only Christmas purse I'll do this year.
For now, I'm going to turn the computer off and get back to stitching on my clutch purses.

Clutch Purses
First, I thought I'd share 2 more of Mom's Fall do-dads:
This little Halloween Pumpkin Door Hanger is just too cute! I think mom used a pattern from my collection of vintage embroidery transfers.
I must say, this Fall Quilted Hanging Heart Door Hanger is my favorite! The colors just scream Autumn!!! This little heart is strip quilted and then the seams are topped with scraps of lace.
In other news, I've been working on some flaps for clutch purses:
This one is done. I sewed up 4 of these so I'll be starting on this one next:
All 4 of these clutch purses feature vintage hankies from my collection.

Halloween Home Decor
My mom always makes me laugh. Not just because she has a good sense of humor and is a really funny person, but because she has a few eccentricities. For example, my mom does not care much for Halloween. She loves the Fall season, but she just doesn't like the day. However, she loves cute little Haunted Houses. So much so, that when she found the embroidery pattern of this Halloween Haunted House, she had to stitch it:
Is this too cute or what?!!!! Mom embellished this pillow with beads, buttons and charms and hand crocheted trim.
I've never been into the Haunted House this but I love Halloween! I go more for the cute little pumpkins though. Here's are my finished Halloween Crazy Quilt Door Hangings:
The little cross stitch designs in the centers are from my Elegant Crazy Quilt Sentiments For Crazy Quilting Book. All of these do-dads are available in my Etsy shop.
I'm almost finished with my Crazy Quilt Christmas purse. I just have to sew the trim on the bottom and add the snap. As soon as it's finished, I'll post photos.
My current stitching project are some Crazy Quilt Clutch Purses. I sewed up 4 of them last week in pretty colors so I'll post photos of those soon as well.
For now, the Cubs are playing the Cardinals. Yes, I'm sure the Cubs will lose but that's okay. Baseball is baseball. I'm off to watch the game and stitch!
