Mom is back in the swing of things now that the holidays are over! She's been doing some sewing and made this beautiful vintage style Cottage bird pillow:
The image is one that I printed on fabric for her and yes, mom did do the embroidery and beadwork!
Then mom made this precious little Happy Birthday Door Pillow with Cats:
Again, the little image is one I printed for her on fabric.
Isn't is amazing what my mom can do with so little vision? But she has determination and that's what keeps her sewing, stitching and crafting!

Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt Repost
I've been quite busy with my online classes, my books, my etsy shop and taking care of my house! Yes, I tend to be all over the map but it keeps me out of trouble! LOL!!!
I was asked if I would re-post the photo of my Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt. Here she is:
And just for fun, here is my Crazy Button Quilt:
And here's my Crazy Garden Quilt:
And finally my Lucky Quilt:
Enjoy the eye candy everyone! And if you would like "pin" my images, please feel free to do so but make sure there is a link to either my blog or my etsy shop. Thanks!

Cat Purse
I think this has to be my favorite purse that I've made yet! I don't know why I have done a Crazy Quilt Cat Purse before:
Yes, that's a vintage rhinestone leaf brooch! I love using vintage things on my crazy quilts! I love the colors in this purse. Very antique looking and I hate to part with it but I have a ton of purses that I made and I'm sure there's a kitty person out there who would love to have this!

More Crazy Quilt Lesson 1 Blocks
I have a few more blocks from my Color and Composition Lesson 1 to share with you today. This is Maria's block:
Maria did an excellent job with the forget me not flowers and encouraging the eye to move around the block using blue.
And this block was worked by Joyce:
Joyce gave her block a very strong feeling of Valentines Day. Again, an excellent use of the color blue. I love the beads around the stitched "forget me not" piece.
Thank you Ladies, for sharing your blocks with me and allowing me to share them here on my blog.
If ya'll stop by tomorrow, you'll get to see my latest purse!
