Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt Repost

I've been quite busy with my online classes, my books, my etsy shop and taking care of my house!  Yes, I tend to be all over the map but it keeps me out of trouble! LOL!!!

I was asked if I would re-post the photo of my Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt.  Here she is:

And just for fun, here is my Crazy Button Quilt:

And finally my Lucky Quilt:

Enjoy the eye candy everyone!  And if you would like "pin" my images, please feel free to do so but make sure there is a link to either my blog or my etsy shop.  Thanks!

Crazy Quilting - Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt Block #7

I've really been out of sorts lately.  I have a terrible time focusing on anything.  I know it's withdrawals and side effects.  As if the road up from depression wasn't bad enough, now it's the long hard road getting to the bare minimum of the anti depressants.  I'll get there, just not in my time I guess.

I did manage to finish up the stitching on my little Crazy Quilt Teddy Bear Dolls:

They really don't look like much now but once sewn together and stuffed, they'll be precious!  I'm hoping to feel up to sewing them together tomorrow when I get back from WalMart.  As soon as they're ready, I'll post photos of them finished.

In the meantime, I pulled out Block #7 of my Marie Antoinette quilt.  I choose some vintage tatting, some appliques and other trims so it's ready to start stitching on:
I'm definitely ready for Winter to be over so I thought I'd better get a move on and work some more on this project.  Stay tuned for updates.

Crazy Quilting - Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt Block #5 Completed!

It's been a snowy, icky day here.  I thought it best to stay inside and finish up stitching on Block #5 of my Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt:
I am so pleased with how that fan worked out on the block!  Perfect for the center of this quilt!

If you're new to my blog, the Marie Antoinette themed Crazy Quilt will consist of 9 blocks, each are 9 inches square.  Here are the first 4:

I'll start on Block #6 in a few days.  For now, I feel like doing some simple old fashioned embroidery!

Marie Antoinette Quilt Block 1 Completed

Yes, I do sleep and I do eat!!  LOL!!!  But I still managed to finish up on Block #1 of my Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt yesterday:

The soft pastel colors of this project are very soothing on my nerves!

Here is block #2:

I'm not going to start on this right away.  I need to make this project last until March!  Just thought you'd like to see the next one.

For now, I started stitching on some new little felted brooches:

The blue one will have a sea theme with some fishies.  I wanted to use a one of my pieces of vintage jewelry on it but I didn't have any vintage fish that were small enough.  Instead, I'll use some fish charms.

I've been meaning to mention, for those of you who cope with depression, that the November 1st issue of Women's Day magazine has an excellent article on the disorder.  You might want to check it out.  Very good article!!!

Today, I'll be going over to mom's and we'll be making another stack of business cards.  Yes, we make our own!  Mom is not feeling well these days.  She's still recovering from the last surgery and now is having gall bladder problems.  She can't have another surgery so soon after the last one and the medication they gave her is only helping a little bit.  All the pain and discomfort is aggravating her Bi Polar and depression but I know she'll get through it with my help.

I'm planning on having Thanksgiving here this year.  Will have to keep it simple since I'm still not 100% yet either.   Scott said that he would help me so we'll do fine.

That's my news for today everyone!
