The majority rules Ladies! I had about 20 ladies here and on Facebook who voted for a pillow and 3 votes for a purse. So went with the majority and finished this into a pillow:
There's more pictures of my Crazy Quilt Bird Pillow here.
And speaking of decorative pillows, this is mom's latest creation:
I believe mom used a vintage embroidery pattern to create this pretty Floral Pillow.
So what's my next project? I can't share it yet, but it'll be on the cover of a magazine! I started stitching on it this morning but ya'll know me. I'm a fast stitcher so I'll have some other photos for you soon!

Embroidered Pillow Lilacs and Roses
March came in like a lion and it looks like it's going out like a lamb. The lion didn't stay very long! It's been exceptionally warm up until a few days ago. Spring came early and I'm okay with that! Right now, I'm looking out my window at the woods across the street and all the trees and bushes have that green haze on them. The tiny leaves have popped through and it's quite lovely to see!
I finished up my little embroidered pillow with the lilacs and roses:
Speaking of Spring, this is very Springy! A perfect gift for mom for Mothers Day!
I was poking around on Etsy yesterday and found a cool little shop that has all sorts of things that would great to sew on crazy quilts. TWPMango has tons of little crocheted flowers, buttons, appliques and other fun and unique little craft supplies. I ordered some little satin flowers and some sequined butterflies. Do check that shop out! I've found some other fun Etsy shops too so I'll share links to them periodically.

Crazy Quilt Progress Photo
Well, my husband sent me a text message yesterday saying the saw 2 Robins! I haven't seen any yet but I know I'll see one any day now!
I did quite a bit of stitching yesterday on my current crazy quilt project so here's an updated progress photo:
Today, I'll be finishing up the beading on the applique at the top.
I also added a few more of my mom's embroidered pillows to the shop yesterday:
They're so pretty!

Small Embroidered Pillows
I kept myself quite busy yesterday but I didn't get much stitching time in. Looking back, I'm not really sure what I all did!
I'm in the process of rearranging things here. Cleaning out, organizing and updating. I want to repaint my room where my big computer is and where I store my craft supplies. I'm not one to have my supply room look like a supply room! I'm trying to get it to the point where I can make myself a little stitching corner with a comfy chair and a nice lamp. A place where I can sit and have peace and quiet. So I know I did some more cleaning out and I did laundry and I baked some muffins and probably a bunch of stuff that I've already forgotten about! LOL!
Anyway, here's an update on my current project. I started the beading the lace applique on the bottom:
I'll be adding sequins to the leaves next. I expect to have plenty of stitching time today so plan on seeing a really great progress photo tomorrow!
I also added a few more of my mom's handmade pillows to our Boutique yesterday:
I guess I did quite a few things yesterday! Nothing that took large amounts of time but a lot of little things that all add up to a productive day!
BTW - does anyone want to take a guess as to what color I want to repaint my room?

Embroidered Shabby Chic Pillows
During the month of the December, Mom & I decided to keep our crafting simple. We pulled out my boxes of Vintage Iron-On Embroidery Transfer Patterns. We traced a bunch of things so we had some easy projects to Stitch on during the holiday chaos activities. We both completed a few projects:
First is mom's Shabby Chic Candlewick Pillow:
And then Mom made this lovely Blue Floral Door Knob Hanger:
I've been stitching on some Baby Pillows. Here is my Pink Baby Door Hanger:
All are available in my Shabby Chic Boutique at Etsy.
I have more Baby Pillows that I'll share tomorrow. The camera battery needs to be charged!
I spent my morning working on some Valentine's Day Decorations. I'll have photos of those soon!
In other news, as per my Dr.'s consent, I started to decrease my dosage of Zoloft again. I'm alternating 50 milligrams one day and then 37 1/2 milligrams the next day. I have to go back & forth on that to help keep the withdrawals down to a tolerable level.
The side effects of the Zoloft have gotten bad again. Screwy weirdo dreams all night long, horrible sweating and back pain that is indescribable! I'm hoping to notice some improvements in the next few weeks.
Well, I'll be back tomorrow with more of my Embroidered Cottage Style Baby Pillows!

Fiber Art Brooches And More!
I have been trying to get to blogging since Friday! I feel like I'm in slow motion and can't seem to get to anything. It was a rather crazy week but I think things are starting to settle down. I had to have the power supply replaced in my big computer yesterday. That's the one I do everything on. This laptop is my fun computer. I really only use to look around online, read my blogs and so on.
Anyway, enough of that. I'll share a few things that mom, Kathi & have been making lately.
First, are some more of Kathi's sweet little needle felted kitties:

I just love these little sweeties! They are so precious and each has a personality of it's own. Just like real kitties!
Mom has made some pretty pillows to sit or hang. The first is with Strawberries:

This one is with violets:

I have a ton of these little pillows with the ribbons sewn into top. I have them hanging on doorknobs and on my antique dresser. I like to change them with the seasons & holidays but I do have some "anytime" ones. They're a nice little homey touch!
I finished up my Marie Antoinette Brooches:

The little faces are done with Polymer Clay and a push mold. Once baked, I painted them. The background is a heart shaped Yo-Yo made of Brocade and behind that, some gathered tulle. Of course I embellished as I always do! Porcelain flowers and vintage rhinestones that I took out of some broken old jewelry are attached the feather.
I've been playing with Polymer Clay quite a bit lately. I'm working my pieces into some interesting art jewelry. Will have photos of those soon. In the meantime, here are my Fiber Art Brooches:

I can't throw even the tiniest of scraps away! I save everything! So that's what these are all about. Using some of my little bits and pieces. I love fuzzy yarn and worked some of that into these pieces and added some vintage Mother Of Pearl Buttons to each brooch. I think they're really interesting!
Well, I picked up the new Belle Armoire Jewelry magazine and the new Sew Somerset. Beautiful things to see in these issues. I haven't read through them yet, just looked at the photos. I will enjoy paging through them after dinner. Taco Salad tonight!
Quick question: Does anyone else read their magazines from the back to the front? I noticed today that I do that and was wondering if I'm the only one! I do a lot of things backwards but so I guess I never noticed before!
