I finished up my latest Crazy Quilt clutch purses yesterday:
I'm not thrilled with putting these on the frames but I really do enjoy making these!
I also finished up my Crazy Quilt Cat Pillow:
I didn't get to my sewing machine today so hopefully, I'll have some time to sew up a couple of blocks tomorrow.
For now, I'll leave you with some kitty photos:
This Lucy. She was looking at Daddy. She's definitely doing better today. At the moment, she's sleeping in my computer chair while I sit on a hard kitchen chair! LOL!!!
And here are the 3 boys sleeping on the bed:

Black Friday Anyone?
Is it just me, or is there anyone else out there who can't stand the term, "Black Friday"? I know what it means...it's better to be in "the black" than in "the red" but geez, it's so dark and ominous! What was wrong with "day after Thanksgiving sales"? That sounds so much happier! And who comes up with this stuff? Is there someone out there who has nothing better to do than come up with these goofy terms? I guess I'm from the Disney generation. I like everything to sound happy and uplifting.
Well, I don't go out the day after Thanksgiving anyway. I did a little more shopping over at Etsy and I still need a few more things but for the most part, I'm done with my shopping. I much prefer to buy handmade and vintage than to go out and put up with the noise and the crowds.
And I did some stitching! I finished stitching up my Pink Kitty Pillow:
These always look prettier in person than they do in the photos. Anyway, my next project is also kitties in a teacup:
When I finish up this one, I'll sew them both together at the same time.
Okay, I have some new things that mom made to photograph. Be sure to listen to The Cinnamon Bear episodes. Just scroll down and click on the links.

Another Students Crazy Quilt Block Lesson 6
I have another students block to share with you today. This is Kathy's Lesson 6 block:
Isn't this a pretty block? Kathy used a photo image of strawberries and then enhanced them with some embroidery and silk ribbon work. And then some strawberry buttons. Which I think I've seen at Hobby Lobby. I love the border with the detached chain flowers inside a circle. Very original! And check out the spider! Ooooh, a very scary spider! Love it!
Beautiful work Kathy! Thank you for sending this to me to share with my readers!
Another photo that I thought I'd share today is my Crazy Quilt Cat Pillow. Well, the stitched piece anyway. I still have to sew it into a pillow. The stitching is complete now:
I love this block! I can't wait to sew it together!
I'll leave you today with a cute photo of my babies:
I got lucky and happened to see them both laying on the chair together. On top of my stuff. Which cats always seem to have a tendency to do! But it looks like Wrigley and Cotton are going to be best friends! Can you believe how much Wrigley has grown? He was only 3 pounds when we adopted him! Cotton is only 3 pounds now. And I don't laugh but I measured Wrigley's tail again and that grew too! It's over 14 inches long. I've never had a cat with such a long tail before!

Rereleasing Cross Stitch Patterns
I have loads of news to share today. First, I finished up on my Pink Rose Crazy Quilt Hanging Pillow. Well, I finished stitching it yesterday:
Since I like to have a few things to sew together at one time, I pulled another project and when I finish it, I'll have 3 things to sew together. Want to guess the theme on this one?
I have some pretty little strawberry beads that I made from polymer clay awhile back. I want to use them on this piece.
In other news, I get so many requests for my retired cross stitch designs that I decided to just make them all available again. It'll take a little while to get them all ready but I will be making them available at Magcloud so anyone who wants them can purchase them either as a hard copy or as a digital download. I will post them here as they become available. I think this will be the easiest way to publish them.
Also, I will be converting my Elegant Crazy Quilt Seam Treatment Books to Macloud format as well. Again, for anyone who prefers to have a hard copy rather than a digital copy, this is a nice option.
Finally for today, here's my finished Cat Pillow:
This would be too cute for a baby's room!
Okay everyone, that's my new for today. I have loads of new handmade things from mom so I'll have photos of those soon and my 4th of July door pillows are done so I'll have those to post soon too!
Have a great Sunday everyone!
