Never Ending Sampler Panel 2 Band 11

It's going to be a hot weekend!  Here's Band 11 of Panel 2 of the Never Ending Sampler Stitch Along.

This border is worked with backstitching, cross stitches and satin stitches.  Here's a closeup of the shamrock:

Are ya'll ready for the next band of the Never Ending Sampler Stitch-Along?  Here it is.  Panel 2 Band 10:

You'll be working the Herringbone Stitch with a Fan stitch beneath it.  The dots can be French Knots or Colonial Knots or beads.  Your choice!  For help with the stitches, visit Sharon B's Pintangle Blog and click on the Stitch Dictionary.

Work this band with back-stitching.  This is a blackwork band.  You can work this band all in one color or you can work it in multiple colors.  Or you can work it traditionally, with black!  Have fun with it!
