1 Year Subscriptions to Crazy Quilt Quarterly Magazine

Hi everyone!  With the February 1st release date of the Spring issue of Crazy Quilt Quarterly magazine quickly approaching, I thought I would go ahead and offer 1 year subscriptions for 2015.

You will receive 4 printed issues of Crazy Quilt Quarterly magazine.  Each issue will be ordered on the release date:  Spring - February 1st, Summer - May 1st, Autumn - August 1st, Winter - November 1st.  They will be shipped directly from Magcloud and will arrive approx. 1 - 2 weeks after the release date.

A 1 year subscription is $59.00 plus shipping (which will vary depending on where you live).  This offer is only for the current year 2015 and only available for printed copies.

Mom's Tussy Mussy's Are Back!

I suggested to Mom, that she make some more Tussy Mussy's for our Etsy shop.  She hasn't made any in a few years and I always thought they were so pretty.  She agreed to make some and apparently, other people thought they were pretty too because they sold out last night.

I thought I'd share photos with you just because I think they're beautiful!

Mom is working on some now for St. Patrick's Day and she was talking about Easter ones as well!

I'll have some new little door hangers to share next week.

Pillows Finished

I finally got around to finishing up these last two pillows that I stitched:

These are both in my Etsy shop.  At the moment, I'm stitching up a couple of little door hanger pillows and when I finish that, I'll be starting on my block for the 2016 Crazy Quilt Calendar!  Yes, it's time to get that together!!  I've sent out my invitations and the girls are so excited!!  All are bouncing off the walls.

But I'll have more information on that down the road a way.  For now, it's like 0 degrees outside and I can live without that!  Tomorrow is supposed to be colder!

New Years Eve 2014

Scott and I have had a nice, quiet day together.  He took the tree down this morning. Then we went for breakfast at our favorite little place in Wonder Lake called Busy Bee.  I always have pancakes with chocolate chips.  Are you surprised?  LOL!!!

Scott is moving to a new dealership on Monday.  This one is closer to home than where he's been for the past, I don't know how many years.  I haven't been to this dealership yet so we took a little drive out there after breakfast.  Wow!  That shorter drive will take a lot of stress off of him!

After that, we drove to Hobby Lobby in Crystal Lake.  I have gift cards burning holes in my wallet but I didn't buy a thing.  I think I just wanted to walk around a little. 

After that, lunch at a Chinese Buffet in Crystal Lake.  Then he wanted to stop at Harbor Freight Tools and then Ace Hardware here in McHenry. 

The rest of the day is just going to be watching TV and relaxing.  I think he's dozed off on the sofa at the moment.  There's probably a few cats laying on him too! 

Anyway, this is the CQ project I finished up yesterday:

The photo is a little dark.  I took it with my cellphone.  I'm going to sew this into a pillow.  Hopefully over the weekend.  I'm sure I can get a better picture then with my real camera.

So that's our New Year's Eve.  We're not into any of the traditional celebrating.  We just go out during the day and look around in a few stores, have lunch and then take it easy the rest of the day.
