I finished this one last night. As you can see, I added the buttons, the butterfly and the leaf charms. I embellished my signature and added some more beads.
I actually started on Basket Kitten #3 too but I forgot to scan it first. I'll save that to share with you tomorrow.
Today, I'm off to Wrigley Field to see my Chicago Cubs. They're doing really bad this year so I know they won't be going anywhere! But it'll be nice to see Wrigley Field again. I haven't been there since 1987 so I'm sure it'll be fun. I actually prefer to watch Baseball on TV. I never know where the ball is when I'm at the ballpark!

Basket Kitten 2 Beading
I did alot of beading on this yesterday. Sure wish the scanner would pick up on the sparkles! I'll be adding buttons to this later today and might even be able to complete it.

Basket Kitten 2
I started this over the weekend and will be finishing it into a small hangbag. I really like handbags and thought that would be a nice way to finish some crazyquilt pieces. Hope to have time to work on this later today. If I do, I'll post an update on my progress tomorrow. In the meantime, I have to do some pattern work.

Crayon Tinted Doorknockers
My mom made these beautiful vintage style designs so I thought I would share them here. I just love doorknockers! As you can see, each has a bit of crayon tinting on them!

On a crazy quilting note, I looked when I was in WalMart for some trim that would work on my Shamrock quilt but no luck, and no pun intended! Maybe I should use something I already have. That would be new! I wanted to list it in my Etsy shop this week but it must be perfect first so will keep looking for the right thing.

Good Luck Quilt
Well, I thought this was complete until I looked at it on the computer. It still needs something. The white lace is distracting. I think it's a bit too wide but not sure. Walmart has some shamrock lace. I think I'll pick some up tomorrow when I'm there, hand paint it and sew it around the edge of the crazyquilt block. That should be fun considering the quilt is all layered and bound! I'll just have to run my needle in between the layers. The shamrock lace may not even be the right thing but I won't know until I try it. And it if it doesn't work, it won't go to waste. I'll just use it on something else. If it does work, I'll post a new photo when it's done.
