Happy New Year and New Releases!

Wow, it's been awhile since I posted an update.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!

With the holidays behind us now, it's time to get down to some serious stitching time!  I'm sure by now everyone knows that stitching helps to relieve stress!  And these days, we all have plenty of that to relieve!!

First, I want to share all of my new cross stitch releases.

It's no secret that I absolutely love cats!!  I really love all animals but cats truly are my favorite.  I've started a new series of cross stitch patterns called Colorful Cats!  These are modern style, geometric cat designs each with a very unique name:

Are these fun or what?!!  I need to stitch one of these, probably Nightmare because I had a Nightmare kitty.

Worked mostly in full stitches with just a few 1/4 stitches and a twinge of backstitching, these design use one Kreinik metallic in each design for a touch of sparkle.

Of course I couldn't stop with cats!  With Spring and Easter coming, I decided to do some Colorful Bunnies as well:

Like the cats, these Colorful Bunnies are worked mostly in full cross stitches with a few fractional stitches and a twinge of backstitching.  And they use a little bit Kreinik metallic.

My Crazy Ornaments have been so incredibly popular.  I have loads of ideas for more but for now, my newest ones are Snowmen and Daisies:

These can be worked on Perforated Paper which makes them quick and easy to finish into ornaments, refrigerator magnets, package tie-on's or bookmarks.  Of course they can be stitched on 14 count Aida as well.

I actually stitched up one of the trees and one of the shamrocks:

Mine are worked on Perforated Paper by Mill Hill and I'll be making them into refrigerator magnets.

These and all of my cross stitch and crazy quilt products can be found in my Etsy store.  Be sure to use Coupon Code:  STITCH1 when you place your order.

Also, there's a really cool new Facebook group for stitchers who like to make ornaments!  If you would like to join, here's the link:

Santa's Little Stitchers

And on my Fans Of Kitty And Me Designs Facebook group, there is a stitch-along going on for The Millennium Cats!  The plan is to stitch one of the little cat designs each month so that by the end of 2020, all the cats are done!  You can join by clicking here:

We also have a BINGO game going on there where you could win a free pattern!!

The Never Ending Sampler Stitch-Along will be starting up again with Panel 6.  Band 1 will be available tomorrow, January 3rd!  If you're new to my stitch-along, you can learn more about it here:

There's also a Facebook Group for the Never Ending Sampler:

Finally for today, the Spring 2020 issue of Crazy Quilt Quarterly magazine will be released on February 1st.  Wait until you see who our cover artist is for this issue!!  Amazing work!!  If you're looking for back issues or the 2020 Crazy Quilt Calendar, you can find them here:

I wish everyone a wonderful and Happy New Year!

Let's get some stitching done!!!

Crazy Trees

I thought I'd take a break from Crazy Quilting and do some cross stitch.  I always loved cross stitching and my latest ornament designs have been calling me!

I picked up some Perforated Paper and stitched up one of my Crazy Tree ornaments:

I plan to do another one or two of these but had to order a couple of the Mill Hill Crystal Treasure stars.

When I finally can buy a house, I plan to glue felt to the back and add a magnet.  I won't be putting up a big tree anymore so these will be really pretty little magnets for the fridge.

I have some Crazy Ornaments coming for Spring too!  Wait until you see those!  I'll release those later this week.

In the meantime, visit my Etsy store to see my entire collection of Cross Stitch patterns.

Crazy Ornaments in Cross Stitch

Because of my love for crazy quilting, I sometimes try to incorporate that style of needlework into my cross stitch designs.

I've just released a set of "Crazy Ornaments" in cross stitch:

These ornament designs can be stitched on 14 count Aida but my preference would be to stitch them on Perforated Paper!  Worked in DMC threads and beautiful gold and silver Kreinik metallic #4 braids, these designs are perfect for tree ornaments, package tie on's, added to cookie plates for friends and neighbors or little gifts for co-workers!

Ask for them at your favorite needlework retail shop or find them in my Etsy store!
