Scotts Cancer Treatment

Happy New Year everyone! Round 3 of Chemo was started on Friday. The tumor is responding very well to the chemo. But each time is a little harder for Scott to get through. I'll keep you posted as we progress through this round.

In the meantime, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. I don't mean to keep whining but we still need a lot of help. I can't pay the regular bills on my income much less the outrageous medical bills. And now we start from scratch again with a huge deductible.

If you can pass the link to our Go Fund Me site around the internet, I would be so grateful. I'm working as much as I can without driving myself crazy but I can only work so much.

Thank you again everyone and Happy New Year!

Update On Scott's Cancer Treatment

https://www.gofundme.com/scotts-cancer-treatment

Hi everyone! Scott is doing pretty well. Today is the last day of round 2 of the chemo. They'll be stopping it this afternoon and then he'll have a 2 week break before round 3. Other than being tired and trying to balance the side effects of the chemo, he's actually doing better with it than the 1st time around.

Thank you again for your generosity, your prayers and your kindness. We still have a way to go but you helped to make the road a little easier. Thank you so much! I'll keep ya'll updated on Scott's progress.

Love and Hugs, Pam

Go Fund Me for Scott's Cancer Treatment

My dear blog friends, my husband Scott was recently diagnosed with cancer.  It's treatable and has an 85% curable success rate.  I'm sure he'll be fine.  He's very resilient and has a good attitude.

Unfortunately, due a surgery that he had back in December of 2015, we are out of money.  We're still paying on that bill.

It pains me to have to swallow my pride and ask for help.  Financial assistance is very difficult to ask for.  But dealing with cancer and chemo/radiation treatment is difficult to deal with too.  It's very sad that anyone going though that should have to worry about their financial situation at the same time.

The process expected to take about 3 months.  Hopefully, that's all it will be.  And Scott plans to try to work through this if he can but being an auto mechanic, he may be limited.  I don't know.

I just hate asking for charity but if anyone can help us so we don't have to worry about paying our regular bills as well as medical expenses, lost pay and travel expenses, I would  be so grateful.

Please visit our Go Fund Me page for more information.

I will be back with more needlework talk soon.

Crazy Quilt Wedding Mystery Continued

We had a cloudy, dreary day here yesterday so I had plenty of stitching time for my Crazy Quilt Wedding project.  As mentioned when I started this, I'm not going to tell you what it will be when it's done.  No one will ever guess!  It'll be a 3 dimensional object and it has 2 stitched parts to it.  Here is an update on part 1:

And here is an update on part 2:

Both of these are ready for beadwork now.

Today, I plan to sew up my last few crazy quilt projects and I have some new things from mom to photograph.

In other news, we're working on the graphics for my Counted Cross Stitch patterns.  I will be re-releasing many of them.  They will be available on Magcloud so please be sure to follow me there!

Lots of cool stuff coming this week!

A New YouTube Video

Hello Ladies!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!  By Friday, I was feeling very burned out.  I know now to pay attention to the warning signs so I've been stitching and taking it easy.  I'll have an update on Block 3 of my Marie Antoinette Crazy Quilt soon.  In the meantime, I thought you would enjoy seeing my newest YouTube commercial.  Enjoy!
