2017 Crazy Quilt Calendar Contest!!!

Exciting news!  We've decided to hold a contest to choose the designs for the 2017 Crazy Quilt Calendar which will be released on September 1, 2016!

We're hoping to get a lot of entries so please read below for all the details and please help to spread the word!

Drawing!

One of my crazy quilt pieces was recently featured in a new needlework publication called, "Spool":

The premier issue showcases a variety of needlework techniques and articles including a wonderful discussion by my sweet friend Louise Giordono of Scarf It Up on doing in home shows.

This is the projects that I did for the Premier Issue of Spool:

I thought it would be fun to have another drawing!  The winner will receive both a copy of the Premier Issue of Spool and the Crazy Quilt Ornament that I did for my article!!!

So that's it everyone!  Good luck and please spread the word.  I had a lot of fun making this little quilt.  I used some vintage velvet berries from an old hat.  I hand-dyed the berries!  I ran all over the planet looking for a little sewing scissors charm.  I added some silk ribbon embroidery and wound thread on the tiny spools myself!!!
