I'm still waiting for the hummingbirds but my Orioles are back! They found the oranges I put out for them yesterday and they've already been here this morning! What cheery birds they are!
Now that the stitching on my Wedding project is done, I've started on some little seashell ornaments. Crazy Quilt seascapes really. Here's the first one:
I have a few more to stitch and then I'll have to do some sewing so I have some new things to stitch on. I'll plan on a sewing day for next week.

Don't often comment Pam, want you to know I read your posts most days and they always make me smile.
Hi Pam,
I had forgotten how Orioles love oranges....I haven't seen one yet, so when I go to the store I am getting some. Hope they will come back and hope, too that the squirrels don't like oranges as they eat most of the bird seed....I don't even think they are cute any more....lol!
Have a happy day!

What a wonderful combination of shells, beads etc. How are you fastening the shells to the fabric?
Hey Pam, aren't you going to post any photos of the birds in your garden? I know your blog is primarily for your creative works, but I always loved seeing your wildlife! I've just posted some photos on my blog (Patra's Other Place) of a King Parrot that came to visit us today.
What a fantastic way to use shells. I have millions sitting in boxes. They are from all over the world.
Beautiful piece.
