I thought you would enjoy seeing this:
Block #5 of my Garden Quilt is now complete! I had all 5 blocks out on the floor this morning and oh, this is going to be a pretty wall quilt!
Before I start stitching on Block #6, I thought you'd like to see the pieced block:
I usually stitch in the morning for a little while after my husband leaves for work. On the days when I can drag myself out of my bed! I used to get up at 4 am, ready to go, go, go! Now, I do good once I get going but sometimes my greatest accomplishment for the day is making myself get up. Today was a good day. Hope tomorrow is too.
I'm quite tired now so I'll keep this short. Before I head out, thought I'd share my mom's lastest creations:
Speaking of Somerset Studio magazines, does anyone have an extra copy of the Marie Antoinette magazine. I'm willing to pay for it or trade for it. I was so sick when it came out. I remember seeing it in Borders, but I just couldn't focus enough to buy anything. I'd really love to have that one.
NOTE ADDED TO POST: I don't know what happened to this message! Can't figure it out so I'll leave it.
Pedal to the floor!

Your block is so lovely, and I'm really getting anxious to see them together. I'm glad you're feeling well enough to be SO busy, but just want you to take care and not overdo it. Don't back yourself into corners with commitments or deadlines. If it's all for fun, that's great. We love you and want you here with us! Hugs, Cathy
I'm echoing what Cathy just said...don't overdo, but enjoy the process of creation. Your blocks make me think of spring and I'm sure that's what you must be thinking of as you're working on them.
WOW! WOW! and WOW! I love block 5. It's beauuutiiifuulll! I just can not immagine how it's going to look all together. At the rate you are going, it won't be long before we get to see it done. :o) Just take care of yourself in the process! Have a wonderful day!
The embroidery work is excellent with all the detailing and the colorful pattens.Love your intricate patterns.
Pam I too have a thing for Marie A. I looked all over for the magazine and finally had to pay not only full price but shipping as I ordered it from Somerset. They are still showing it in their mags. I just got mine a while ago. It is absolutely gorgeous and you would love it. Splurge on yourself and order it. If you have to stay in bed at least you are doing it with a great mag. I haul it out every few days and look at it again.
Hugs
