I know the red flower appliqué looks a bit obnoxious at the moment. Trust me, by the time I'm done beading it, it'll look great!

It'll be a 9 inch square purse when it's done. I like doing 9 inch blocks because they fit well in a 12 inch quilters hoop.
Great start! The red is bright, but not obnoxious. I'm sure you will have everything ship-shape by the end!
