Scott & Pam In Galena, Illinois

Well, after walking up and down Main Street all day, I do feel better.   We finished up the afternoon by walking through Grant Park and sitting by the Galena River for awhile.  These were taken in the park.  This of course is me.

We got back to our hotel in the nick of time!  It just started thundering and raining.  It wasn't supposed to rain today.  Anyway, this is the Irish Cottage Hotel.  It's where we always stay:

Another fun and beautiful feature of Galena is that President US Grant lived here.  This is me several years ago in front of Grant's home:

It was a very nice day.  We're going to have dinner now.  Hope you enjoyed my little Galena History tour!  And be sure to check out the links I included.  Galena has a very rich and beautiful history.

Good Morning From Galena

Hello Ladies.  The depression is definitely not gone yet.  But there's enough of the real me here to know that Galena is my favorite place.  We're going to go into town and I'm going to take some pictures so you can see why (under normal circumstances) I love it here so much.

It really is nice to have my computer with me.  I think it's a grounding thing for me.  Anyway, I'll be back later.

I must tell you, I'm am so tired of feeling screwy.

Thank you everyone for keeping in touch with me.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate your kindness and friendship.  Hugs to all!

Being In Galena

Hi Everyone!  Well, I didn't take any pictures today.  To be honest, I haven't felt great today.  Maybe it's too much excitement or stress from the drive or over stimulation.  I don't know but I can feel the cloud of depression still hanging over me here.  I guess I don't notice it as much at home because of my routine.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.  Until then, have a good night all.
