Thought I'd share my current stitching projects:
First, I started on this beautiful Cornucopia by Kooler Designs Studio awhile back:
I had to hoped to complete it by Thanksgiving but I'm not sure that will happen. I'm still in slow motion on some things. Still winding down from everything and I get tired sooner than normal. I just had to run on adrenaline for so long, taking care of mom and dad and the house, it's going to take awhile to settle down guess.
I started on this little Crazy Quilt block yesterday:
The little cross stitch owl is a freebie from
Shannon Christine Designs. She has some really pretty patterns.
I'd like to get back to some of the vintage iron-embroidery patterns too. I have a huge collection of those charming little patterns, including mom's now. I want to get back to using them.
But, one thing at a time!
I'm thinking come Spring, I might adopt another little Russian Blue cat. I miss my Bleubird so much, I still can't believe I lost him at only 11 years sold. The Russian Blue cats have amazing personalities and characteristics.
If I do adopt another little one, I will name him Sherman after the Sherman family line on my mom's side. I spent so much time on that line of the family and I'm still working on it! They moved around back in the 1800's more than we do now! Anyway, I thought Sherman would be a cool name.
