My latest Cross Stitch design:
America, America, God shed his grace on thee! A beautiful primitive
counted cross stitch sampler celebrating our patriotism!! The stitch
count for this design is 96 stitches wide X 148 stitches high. On 28
count Evenweave or 2 fabric threads (or 14 count Aida) the stitched
piece will measure 6 3/4 inches wide X 10 1/2 inches high. Designed with
Sampler Threads by The Gentle Art, I've also included the DMC
equivalents. Designed by Pamela Kellogg of Kitty and Me Designs.
Available at both Magcloud:

And at Etsy:

Just a reminder, entries for the 2018 Crazy Quilt Calendar are due on May 31st!
We're hoping for lots and lots of entries this year!! With "Musicals" as a theme, it should be a lot of fun!!!
I finished up another little sampler in my Inspiration Sampler Series of Counted Cross Stitch patterns:
Again, the pattern suggests Sampler Threads from The Gentle Art but I also included the DMC equivalents.
I am so much enjoying the designing process again! I always loved old looking samplers and I enjoy like bible verses!

And here it is with the Band 5 overlap for placement purposes:
Band 6 is worked with cross stitches, straight stitches and either french knots or beads.
Happy Stitching!
Today I have Band 5 of Panel 2 of the
Never Ending Sampler Stitch-Along:
Here's band #5 by itself:
And here it is with Band 4 for placement purposes:
The special stitch is called a "Sheaf Stitch". Sharon B has a tutorial for this stitch in her
Embroidery Stitch Dictionary.
Here's a closeup of the stitch:
Happy Stitching!
Second in the series of Inspirational Samplers, this counted cross
stitch design is Psalm 118:24. This is the day the Lord has made.
Sampler Threads by the Gentle Art are recommended but DMC conversions
are also included. The stitch count is 98 stitches wide X 143 stitches
high. On 28 count Evenweave over 2 fabric threads or 14 count Aida, the
design will measure 7 inches wide X 10 1/8 inches high.

Awhile ago, I mentioned that I was going to start creating some new cross stitch designs. I've been liking primitive samplers a lot lately and I've always loved bible verses so needless to say, I put them together.
Here is the first design in the series:
Threads used are the Sampler Threads by the Gentle Art but I've also included DMC equivalents.
This is available at both Magcloud:

And at Etsy:

For your weekend enjoyment, here is Panel 2 Band #4 of the
Never Ending Sampler Stitch-Along:
Here's the band by itself:
Use cross stitches and straight stitches. The leaves should look like they're satin stitched. Here's a closeup of the leaves:
Have a great weekend everyone! Happy Stitching!
For those of you who are stitching on the
Never Ending Sampler Stitch-Along, here's Panel 2 Band 3:
And here is Band 3 by itself:
Work this band with cross stitches and straight stitches.
