My next project will be this 5 inch Halloween block. As I mentioned before I went out of town, I'm doing 3 of these so this is 2nd in the series.
So, you're probably all wondering where I was huh? Well, my husband and I drove down to Louisville Kentucky for the Streetrod Nationals. It's the biggest antique car show in the US. My father in law owns a beautiful 1931 Ford Model A Roadster and he's been to the Streetrod Nationals every year since they started it. He was receiving a special award for his yearly attendance and wanted Scott and I to be there. So that's what we did.
I must say, Kentucky is an incredibly beautiful state! We did some sight seeing and found some really neat places. One of them was Abraham Lincoln's birthplace! Very cool!
I'm still a bit out of sorts and need a few more days to get my brains back in my head. Hopefully over the weekend, I'll get our photos transfered to the computer and share some of them here.
I love your little Lady! The crayon tinting makes her so soft and appealing, as well as the beautiful stitching. Thanks for sharing her.
ReplyDeleteThe Streetrod Nationals sound like great fun. Yes, I love KY, too. I spent one winter there, when I was 10 or 11, at Ft. Knox, and don't think I want to do that again, but the rest of the year, it's gorgeous. =)
