It doesn't sound boring to me at all - just peaceful as you said. I thought I was fairly well organised, but obviously not as well as you. We don't have any kids either (thank goodness), just the cat and dog and a few birds. My hubby also gets up early to go to work as a bus driver, but I don't get up until around 8 am as I am a night owl, and am usually up until well after midnight most days. I work 3 days a week, and the other two I try to spend with friends, out and about at opshops, or just out for lunch. I spent four days a month doing voluntary work with the aged, so all this cuts down my stitching time, obviously! When I "retired" from full time work 6 years ago, I had intended to spend a couple of hours a day stitching, but I guess I am too much of a 'people' person to sit on my own for long. Ah well, as long as we enjoy life and have something to look forward to each day, that's what counts, isn't it! I am glad you liked my swap cards - they are neat, aren't they? I will do some more one day soon, but I still have some more stuff from my gran's autograph book to scan...busy-busy-busy :)Gina E.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07532527261977368083noreply@blogger.com
