Blast From The Past!

We went to another Flea Market this morning and look what I found:

Antique Creamers

One of these little antique creamers is from Germany and the other is from Bavaria!  I only paid $5 for the 2 of them!  I'm going to let mom pick one for herself and I'll keep the other.

I also found a little wicker shelf for only $3 but forgot to take a photo of it.  I'll hang it in my guest room when I get the room re-painted.  It needs a fresh coat of white paint first.

I've doing some odds & ends today.  I'm working on some little art brooches and I'm just about done with my Marie Antoinette brooches.  Photos coming soon!

IN other news, can I be a cat?  This is lazy girl Lucy:

Lucy In Garden Window

She loves to sleep in our garden window!

Well, are you ready for my Blast From The Past?  This is my High School Senior year photo:

Me 1980

Hmmm.....no wrinkles.  I always say, it's not the years, it's the mileage!  Mom gave me this last week.  I cringed but thought I'd share a rare photo of me, even if it is from 30 years ago.

In other news, I'm please to announce that I am now on DSL!  Wow!  I was actually able to read my favorite blogs this morning instead of waiting for them to load and getting bored enough to give up!  I've actually been doing the majority of my blog reading on my dad's computer but now I can do it here!  Yeah!!!

Well,  I guess that's the news for today.  I'll leave you with my sister's newest earrings.  These are so pretty!

I love the earrings your sister makes, they are very pretty. I wish you sold to overseas - I would buy a pair!

Your highschool pic is very pretty too. It's amazing how much we change. I just put a photo of myself on my blog, but I don't think it looks very nice. I did my hair different today and it looks much nicer.

your kitty Lucy is lovely isn't she? I love all things froggy and kitty.

Keep up the good work! I love reading your blog and looking at your lovely creations!

Hi Pam, great finds! The creamers are very pretty! I had been lucky too yesterday and found a box filled with MOP buttons, one with glass buttons and a couple of lace doilies. It's always so much fun to hunt for treasures, isn't it?
Lucy is beautiful and looks so cute sleepling.
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Julia

I love the creamers. I had to restrict my china cabinet to 'sentimental value', it was bursting at the seams and there was no room for any new treasures!
I love the high school photo too.

I love your creamers! Great finds, Pam! And your HS picture is so cute! What a good idea to post an oldie. And lastly, I've always wanted to be a cat for a day, too. Boomer, my tabby furson, has those same relaxing talents as Lucy, LOL. BTW, I'm loving your Art Quilting tutorial! Hugs, Cathy

You sure find some great stuff at sales, Pam! Lucy is adorable - as much as I love our sleek black Topsy, I miss cuddling fluffy cats like our last one..:-(
Your high school photo is charming, but I think you are more attractive now (going by the last recent photos I saw of you!). Youth is pretty, but maturity has more depth of beauty which comes with life experience.

Hi Pam,
Creamers aro so pretty - a lucky find for $5.
Oh, the life of a cat! Were we put here on this earth to serve the cats? I've heard that said before. Our cat rules the roost, so to speak, and gets exactly that she wants.
Your sister's earrings are very pretty. Will be looking forward to seeing your brooches.
Hope you are having a "feeling good" happy day!

I love the photo of you! There is no way you'd want to see what I looked like 'back in the day', but maybe, just for fun I might hunt one up. Somebody might want to print it off to use as a dartboard.
Lucy looks so peaceful and looks like my Cosmo has been all day. It's really hot here and he's been stretched out to cool off.
