Sneak Preview!

Today, I thought I would give you a little preview of coming attractions:

Elegant Crazy Quilt Seam Treatments

These are just 5 of the border designs that will be available in my upcoming E-Book, "Elegant Crazy Quilt Seam Treatments" Volume 1.

All together, there are 72 charted borders in this book along with the chart for stitching up the little band sampler. I've included complete directions for working with Waste Canvas, how to calculate the size of your border, what size Waste Canvas to use, what threads to use and a section of helpful hints.

Future volumes will be supplement issues focusing mainly on more border designs.

For anyone interested in owning a copy of this E-Book, I thought I'd suggest a good way to store the pages. Pick up a 3 ring binder and a package of plastic sleeves. You can slip each page into a sleeve and then when the supplement volumes become available, you can simply add to your book. Also, I will occasionally offer complimentary charted borders here so you can add those to your book as well.

I am moving the release date down the road by about a week. Allison Aller has kindly agreed to review the book for me from a crazy quilter's perspective. She's leaving on a quilt retreat this week and will return on February 4th. I didn't want her to have to rush through it. I would like Allie to enjoy reading through it and see if she comes up with anything that I didn't address in the book. I want to be sure that I've covered everything.

Also, I'd like to take a moment to thank my dear friend and model stitcher, Kim Dennett for working up the little band sampler so quickly! Kim will also be reviewing the book from a cross stitcher's perspective. These designs are suitable for pretty little samplers so I want to be sure that my directions are clear to both crazy quilters and cross stitchers.

Depending on what's convienent for Allie, I'm looking at a release date of somewhere between February 7th & February 10th.

The E-Book will be available in my Etsy shop.
